86 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Justice if his attention has been drawn to the recent establishment of the Council for Refugees; whether he has any proposals to meet with representatives of the council and discuss with them the issues which concern them; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware of the establishment of the Irish Refugee Council, with whose representatives officials of my Department have met and discussed the general question of refugees in Ireland.
