Ceist:207 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education if he will make funding available as a matter of urgency to a national school (details supplied) in County Cork.

My Department has received an application for grant aid in respect of the cost of fire safety measures at the school in County Cork referred to by the Deputy. This matter is being considered in consultation with my Department's technical advisers and a decision will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest possible date.
