Ceist:284 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Health when the new cardiac surgeon will be appointed to the Cork Regional Hospital.

Approval has been given by my Department to the filling of this post and the Local Appointments Commission has been requested to organise the necessary competition. I understand that the competition will be advertised in the national press next week.
