Ceist:48 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Justice when it is intended to publish the promised Bill dealing with the abolition of ground rents; and if he will outline the Government's intentions in this regard.

Work is continuing in my Department on the preparation of legislation on the abolition of all remaining domestic ground rents. I am not in a position yet to indicate when the legislation will be published but when proposals are finalised they will be announced in the usual way.
