Written Answers. - County Roscommon Group Water Schemes.

170 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the fact that there are six major group water schemes (details supplied) in County Roscommon in respect of which sanction to commence work has been awaited for several years; if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that there are almost one thousand householders involved in these schemes; and when he will give the go-ahead to each of these schemes.

Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the group water schemes programme, I am not in a position to indicate when there may be a decision on these schemes.
