194 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for the Environment if a decision has been made regarding a proposed extension to the Killybegs water scheme, as recommended by Donegal County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A proposal to provide a number of extensions to the Killybegs water supply scheme is under examination. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision may be made.
