100 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice when the constituents inquiries notebooks belonging to a public representative (details supplied) which was taken by the Garda from an address (details supplied) in Dublin 7 during the summer of 1992 will be returned to this person.
I am informed by the Garda authorities that a notebook seized by Gardaí from the premises in question was returned to a colleague of the person concerned at the premises on 15 October, 1992. I understand that the Garda had previously made a number of unsuccessful attempts to return the notebook directly to its owner.
