Ceist:104 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Education if school transport will be restored for children (details supplied) in County Mayo.

The service, as it operated up to the end of the summer term, 1992, cannot be re-established because of insufficient numbers.
It is not possible to provide alternative grant-aid towards the cost of private transport arrangements, because the children, who live less than three miles from the school, do not qualify for such aid.
