Ceist:

110 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education if he will appoint two additional full-time teachers as a matter of urgency to the De La Salle College, Waterford, in view of the increased number of repeat leaving certificate students for the coming year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

This school has been granted three additional teaching posts in the current school year over the allocation which applied in the 1991/92 school year. Account was taken of increased enrolment in the school this September when determining the allocation of posts for the school for the 1992/93 school year.
