Ceist:160 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for the Environment when he will give the necessary approval for the development of a group water scheme at Anabelaher, Kilcummin, County Kerry.

Group water scheme grants and estimated local contributions would together provide only some two-thirds of the financing required for this scheme, notwithstanding design revisions. Its financing would, under present arrangements, require a substantial further grant from the budget for public water and sewerage schemes. Having regard to existing commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, it is not possible to indicate when this scheme may be approved.
