47 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the way in which the proposed Advisory Board on Industrial Policy, which will be advising him, will interact with county enterprise initiatives under the aegis of the Taoiseach.
No arrangements have been made for interaction between the proposed Advisory Board on Industrial Policy and the County Enterprise Partnership Boards. However, an Interdepartmental Steering Group has been established for the county enterprise initiative; this Steering Group has, inter alia, responsibility for ensuring the cohesive interaction of existing aid programmes at national level with those devised at local level.
