88 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in advancing the proposal to erect a new primary school at Tooreen, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo; the stage which the present proposal is at; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department are currently reviewing the proposed new school project for Tooreen national school with reference to the existing accommodation and future demographic trends.
