Ceist:115 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Labour if he intends to exclude persons engaged in voluntary work, without pay, from benefit under the employment subsidy scheme as they will not be in receipt of unemployment assistance.

The purpose of the Employment Subsidy Scheme (ESS) is to encourage employers to recruit additional employees from unemployed persons on the Live Register. I have no plans to alter the Live Register requirement.
