169 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the total amount of money allocated to meet grant payment in the agri-tourism sector in 1992; the number of grants approved; the number paid; the number outstanding; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
A total of £1.8 million has been provided in the Vote for my Department to meet claims arising for payment in 1992 under the Scheme of Grant Aid for Investments in Agri-Tourism.
A total of 210 projects has been approved under the Scheme. Of these, work has been completed in 96 cases and the grants paid. The grants will be paid in the remaining cases when the projects have been satisfactorily completed.
