In 1992, £88.350 million was transferred to the Exchequer from the national lottery fund held in the Central Bank. When account is taken of a further £11.807 million which had been drawn down in 1991 but not fully spent in that year, the total amount available from the Exchequer for national lottery funded spending programmes in 1992 was £100.157 million.
Details of the actual 1992 expenditure for each Department will be set out in the Abridged Estimates Volume which is due to be published tomorrow. The National Lottery Appendix in that volume summarises the expenditure on national lottery funded programmes across all Government Departments.
