260 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he has responsibility for the Leader programme on Achill Island, County Mayo and its administration in areas other than those of the island covered by Údarás na Gaeltachta.

Meitheal Fobartha na Gaeltachta is the group approved to operate the EC Leader programme in Gaeltacht areas, including the Gaeltacht part of Achill Island. The Leader programme does not operate in the rest of the island.
