Ceist:356 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if provision has been made in the Estimates for the introduction of pre-school facilities from September, 1993.

Provision has been made for pre-schools for children of travellers, and funds have also been provided for the special project catering for pre-school children from disadvantaged homes located at Seáan McDermott St., Dublin.
The programme for a Partnership Government proposes a system of pre-school education, for children between the ages of two and four years, in disadvantaged areas.
