82 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Finance his estimate of Central Fund Services for 1993 prior to the devaluation of the pound; and the estimate since the devaluation.
As indicated in Part IV of the White Paper of Receipts and Expenditure published on 20 February the 1993 estimate for Central Fund Services is £2,902.837 million. The estimate was finalised subsequent to the devaluation of the Irish Pound. The devaluation added about £52 million to the 1993 foreign debt interest estimate included in Central Fund Services.
