Ceist:35 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for the Marine if he had received any complaints about conditions on the seaferry Celtic Pride prior to the death of two children from poisonous gases.

The Department received no complaints about conditions on the vessel prior to the accident. I would refer the Deputy to section 19 of the Department's report of the investigation into the accident which covers this matter in detail.
