Ceist:72 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Health if he will make £15,000 available from national lottery funds for the day care centre at Milltown, Tuam, County Galway.

A grant of £5,000 from national lottery funds was allocated to the Milltown Community Care Association in 1992 towards the cost of constructing a community care centre at Cartron, Milltown, County Galway. As a general rule local voluntary groups and organisations seeking lottery grants should address their applications to the appropriate health boards and each health board receives a block allocation of lottery funds from my Department specifically for this purpose. I expect to be in a position to notify the health boards of their block allocations of lottery funds for 1993 shortly.
