Ceist:

125 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if he will fund Muintir na Tíre for the employment of community development workers under the County Enterprise Partnership Boards in order to help local communities to achieve their potential and thus contribute to any enterprise programme for development.

I would refer the Deputy to my replies to parliamentary questions about county enterprise partnership boards on 18 February, 1993.

Under the proposals for county enterprise partnership boards it will be a matter for each board and not the Minister to decide what projects to fund in the light of their area action plans.
