Ceist:278 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Health if he will provide the necessary funding in 1993 to the North-Eastern Health Board to establish a renal dialysis unit in Cavan General Hospital, County Cavan.
I propose to answer Questions Nos. 272 and 278 together.
While no specific funds have been provided in the 1993 Estimates in respect of these service developments, I have asked my Department to discuss them with the health boards involved in the context of their 1993 service plans.
