Information on the ownership of companies exporting goods is not required on customs documentation. Accordingly, the exports of non-Irish owned companies cannot be separately identified.
However, information available from the annual census of industrial production for the years 1986 to 1989 on the exports of foreign owned establishments in manufacturing industry is given in the following table.
Exports of foreign owned establishments as a percentage of the exports of all establishments in manufacturing industry.
