Ceist:130 Mr. Flood asked the Minister for Health if he has received an application for funding from the Tallaght Partnership to cover child care for the Tallaght Project; and if he will accede to the request.
Written Answers. - Tallaght Child Care Project.
The primary aim of the Child Care for Tallaght Project is to provide women in the Tallaght area with greater access to training and employment through the provision of a range of child-minding facilities.
The project has sought funding from a number of sources, including the European Social Fund under the New Opportunities for Women programme. I have received an application for funding and it is being examined in the light of competing demands for available resources.
