173 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Defence when the balance of a gratuity will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 13; when this person's pension entitlement will be finalised; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The person referred to by the Deputy received an interim gratuity in December 1992 and arrangements are being made at present to pay the balance due.
The person's pension entitlements have also been finalised and the Department will be writing to him very shortly to advise him of the position.
