Ceist:219 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to improve vocational education buildings in County Mayo in 1993; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

There are three building projects in progress in vocational schools in County Mayo at present, at an estimated cost of over £400,000.
Two further projects, costing almost £400,000, are being planned for Davitt College, Castlebar, and Moyne College, Ballina, but have not been included in the 1993 post-primary building programme because of other demands deemed to be of a higher priority which had to take precedence. They will continue to be considered for inclusion in the programme in the light of available resources and other commitments and priorities.
