65 Mr. Cullen asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the discussions, if any, he has had with the management and/or board of a company (details supplied) since taking office; if he received a request for State assistance; and, if so, the nature of the assistance required.

I have not had any request to meet the management or Board of Waterford Wedgewood plc. since taking office nor have I had any request for State assistance from the company in that period. The Industrial Development Authority are in constant touch with the ongoing situation in the company.
