Ceist:

16 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment his views on conditions in St. Joseph's Mansions, Killarney Street, Dublin 1, where over 100 families do not have basic washing facilities and where the living environment is Dickensian; and if he will give a specific timescale within which all households there will be provided with the necessary facilities.

The planning and carrying out of remedial works to their dwellings are matters for Dublin Corporation who are also responsible for the apportionment of their annual capital allocation between their housing estates designated for funding under the remedial works scheme, including St. Joseph's Mansions.
