180 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the level at which the current accumulated losses of the Racing Board stand; when the board will publish its accounts for 1991 and 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The accounts of the Racing Board for the year 1991 have now been laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas. These accounts show no accumulated losses.
I expect that the board's accounts for 1992 will be submitted to an AGM of the board in the near future following which they will be forwarded to me for examination and submission to the Government before being laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas.
