83 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for the Environment if he has considered the representations from the Rural Re-Settlement Organisation who are seeking a moving allowance to assist families to move to rural areas and grants for the refurbishment of substandard rural houses.

There are no proposals to introduce allowances or grants of this kind and there is no statutory provision for resettlement allowances.
