Ceist:58 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when payments under the 1992 beef premium scheme will be issued to persons (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

Only one of the persons named is the registered owner of the herd number quoted and her application for grants under the June 1992 special beef premium scheme was rejected when subjected to a validation check by computer. The problem with the application is being dealt with at present and when it is resolved the application will be processed further and if found in order payment will then be made.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted. The registered owner did, however, apply for grants under the June 1992 special beef premium scheme and his application was rejected when subjected to a validation check by computer. The problem with the application is being dealt with at present and when it is resolved the application will be processed further and if found in order payment will then be made.
