133 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Justice if, it is proposed to introduce a Criminal Legal Aid Bill to make changes in the statutory criminal legal aid scheme, to eliminate possible abuses, and make other amendments; and if so, when.
As I have informed the House previously, I could not be expected to say, by way of reply to a parliamentary question, what particular legislative proposals I may have in mind. Any such proposals will be brought before Government for approval and announced in the normal way.
