158 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for the Environment if he will supply Deputy Trevor Sargent with a copy of the Environmental Impact Study into Muingnaminnane landfill, County Kerry, Ballypatrick landfill, County Tipperary, and the Ballymount waste facility, County Dublin.
Wexford): The making available of environmental impact statements in respect of developments proposed to be carried out by or on behalf of a local authority is a matter for the local authority concerned under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 1990. ENFO, the environmental information service operated by my Department, holds a collection of environmental impact statements submitted to all the relevant Irish authorities. Copies of the statements prepared in relation to the Muingnaminnane and Ballypatrick landfills are available for reference at ENFO. I understand that the EIS in relation to the Ballymount waste facility has not yet been completed.
