Ceist:250 Ms F. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Health the situation with regard to access to the drug DDI in this country.

DDI has been made available to persons in this country to date on a named patient basis and through a clinical trial. An application for a Product Authorization for DDI is currently being processed by my Department and the National Drugs Advisory Board. I understand that this process is almost finalised.
