Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to the Ceann Comhairle under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case:

Deputy O'Leary — Whether school transport to pupils attending Clonkeen national school in the parish of Glenflesk, Killarney, will be restored as a matter of urgency having regard to the dangerouse national primary road on both sider of the school and also to the fact that many of the pupils are residing three miles from the school and to the imminent withdrawal of pupils from the school; Deputy J. Higgins — The need for the Minister for Health to make the necessary funds available to the Western Health Board/Western Care Association to prevent the withdrawal of crisis relief for the parents of an autistic child (details supplied) in County Mayo; Deputy Deenihan — The crisis facing 300 farmers because of the failure to reach agreement with the ESB regarding the funding of the ESB/Government subsidised farm electrification scheme; Deputy Finucane — If, in view of the urgent necessity for a group water scheme at The Hill, Abbeyfeale, County Limerick, the Minister for the Environment will indicate when this project will be approved; and if he will make a statement on the matter; Deputy Boylan — The up to date situation in relation to Cavan swimming pool; and the reason this development has not yet been sanctioned; Deputy Mulvihill — The necessity for an early commencement of the Whitegate sewerage scheme in order to eliminate the pollution of the Whitegate area of Cork harbour; Deputy T. Ahearn — The regulations governing special arrangements for students, with problems such as deafness or dyslexia, who are sitting the junior certificate examinations and leaving certificate examinations in June, 1993; Deputy Crowley — The proposed plans for the provision of a new primary school at Tullylease, Charleville, County Cork, as the existing conditions are unacceptable to parents, teachers and children; Deputy Cox — The implications for Greencore of the sale of the State's equity in that company to institutional investors in Ireland and whether the failure to sell this equity to ADM, the preferred option of the Greencore management, will have any negative implications for that company's future prospects; Deputy Dukes — The delay in the issue of maps to farmers by the Ordance Survey Office and the implications of the delay for farmers' entitle ment to EC aids; Deputy Quill — The problems arising from the incineration of waste materials at Cork Regional and other hospitals and the need for a national waste management policy in relation to clinical waste; Deputy P. Gallagher (Laoighis-Offaly)— The reduction in staff by the National Youth Federation in the light of increased national lottery funding for the federation from the Department of Education in 1993; Deputy Gregory — The proposed re-location of Scoil Chaoimhín, Marlboro Street, Dublin 1, against the wishes of parents and teachers at a cost of £250,000 when there is serious under-budgeting of the primary school building programme and Deputy Ó Cuív — The need to provided money for the modification of buses bringing children to Scoil Caitríona, Renmore, Galway, so that there would be easy access for children in wheelchairs.

The Ceann Comhairle has selected for discussion the matters raised by Deputies Cox, Dukes, Mulvihill and Deenihan.
