Vol. 430 No. 5

Written Answers. - Provision of School Facilities.

Donal Moynihan

Ceist:

198 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Education if she will reply to previous representations from Deputy Donal Moynihan concerning a school (details supplied) in County Cork regarding the provision of adequate facilities for the school as the existing facilities are out-moded and inadequate.

My Department accepts that alternative accommodation needs to be provided for the school referred to by the Deputy. The possibility of accommodating the school in surplus classrooms becoming available in the vicinity due to declining enrolments will be investigated as a matter of urgency. The Deputy will receive replies to his representations to the above effect shortly.
