Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to me under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Jim Higgins — the need for the Minister for Health to make the necessary funds available to the Western Health Board/Western Care Association to prevent the withdrawal of crisis relief for the parents of an autistic child (details supplied) in County Mayo; (2) Deputy O'Leary — whether school transport to pupils attending Clonkeen national school in the parish of Glenflesk, Killarney, will be restored as a matter of urgency, having regard to the dangerous national primary road on both sides of the school, to the fact that many of the pupils are residing three miles from the school and to the imminent withdrawal of pupils from the school; (3) Deputy Crowley — the proposed plans for the provision of a new primary school at Tullylease, Charleville, County Cork, as the existing conditions are unacceptable to parents, teachers and children; (4) Deputy Noonan (Limerick East)— the appointment of concessionary teachers to a school (details supplied) in Limerick; (5) Deputy Haughey — the need for the Minister for Education to place a child with special difficulties (details supplied) in a suitable primary school, given that he has had no full-time education since November 1991; (6) Deputy Molloy — chun a fhiafraí den Aire Oideachais an bhfuil sí sásta glacadh leis an iarratas ó muintir Inis Oírr, Árainn, Contae na Gaillimhe agus Coiste Gairmoideachais Contae na Gaillimhe go gcuirfear an meánscoil ar an oiléan faoi cúram an chóiste gairmoideachais; agus an ndéanfaidh sí ráiteas sa chás; (7) Deputy Flanagan — the urgent need to establish a national ambulance policy to ensure a satisfactory ambulance service in the State. (8) Deputy Ó Cuív — the need to provide funding for the provision of extra geriatric beds in Merlin Park, Árus Mhic Dara, Carraroe and Clifden hospital in County Galway; (9) Deputy Cullen — an up-to-date report on the preparation and finalisation of the Government's submission to Brussels for the next tranche of EC Structural Funds for Ireland, with special reference to the vital infrastructure of Waterford city, and the wider south-east region of the country; (10) Deputy Blaney — if, in order to allay the fears and to avoid confusion of farmers in County Donegal who suffered loss due to storm damage and for whom compensation is available, the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry will ensure that all farmers will be compensated equally relative to their losses of potato, cereal and flax crops; and if he will make a statement on the matter; (11) Deputy Frances Fitzgerald — the disposal by Irish Life of the Mespil Estate and the consequent eviction of residents from these flats; (12) Deputy Shatter — the measures that should be taken to ensure convicted sexual offenders do not harass and intimidate their victims. (13) Deputy Gilmore — the need to review the monitoring of letters sent by sex offenders from prison to ensure that victims of such offences are not subjected to any additional stress or suffering by letters of a threatening or intimidatory nature; (14) Deputy O'Donoghue — the need for the Minister for Health to allocate sufficient funds to enable a reasonable speech therapy service in County Kerry; (15) Deputy Michael McDowell — the sale at the under-value of Mespil Estate by Irish Life which was 30 per cent owned by the Stae in circumstances where existing tenants were excluded from the purchase.
