Ceist:

115 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education if she has considered the application by Galway vocational education committee to have the secondary school on Inis Oírr, Árainn, accepted as a vocational education committee school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

An application from County Galway Vocational Education Committee to assume responsibility for the school was received recently in my Department. The request is under examination at present.
