129 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Health if he will give a breakdown of the estimated daily cost per in-patient in the general hospitals in the North-Eastern Health Board area and also of the number of in-patients discharged in 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I would refer the Deputy to columns Nos. 1433 to 1438 of the Official Report of 27 April 1993 where the number of in-patients discharged in 1991 from all acute general hospitals in the country is set out. The estimated daily cost per in-patient where available is also shown.
