161 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the overall allocation of funds from the national lottery to her Department in the years from 1991 to date; the specific projects funded; and the amount allocated to each project.

The following table gives details of the amounts made available to my Department for activities funded from the national lottery for the period 1991-93. These amounts are distributed over the broad headings under which national lottery funds are allocated as follows:

Details of specific projects grant-aided by my Department from national lottery funds are published annually in the Appropriation Accounts. The 1991 Appropriation Accounts have already been published and the 1992 Appropriation Accounts will be published later this year.

The amount of time required to provide full details of all projects to be funded in 1993 would be inordinate. I would be glad, however, to provide details of any projects in which the Deputy has a particular interest.
