Vol. 431 No. 8

Written Answers. - Cork Regional Hospital Equipment.

Michael Creed

Ceist:

38 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Health the requests received by his Department for additional/replacement equipment for the Cork Regional Hospital; and if he will make any allocation in 1993 for such purposes.

The Southern Health Board has identified the replacement of anaesthetic equipment at Cork Regional Hospital as the priority equipment requirement for the hospital. The Deputy will be pleased to learn that I have recently sanctioned the purchase of necessary anaesthetic equipment for Cork Regional Hospital at an estimated cost of £640,000.
