Ceist:26 Mr. Clohessy asked the Minister for Justice if she has any plans to review the promotional system that operates in the prison service; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Prison Service Promotion System.
Systems of promotion in the Prison Service are matters appropriate for discussion at the Departmental Council under the Counciliation and Arbitration Scheme. There is, in fact, a claim relating to this matter at present before the Council. As such discussions are confidential I am precluded from commenting further on the matter.
