138 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give details of the position regarding the proposed sewerage scheme for Virginia, County Cavan; if the scheme has been sanctioned to commence in 1993; and if so, when.

Contract documents for Virginia sewerage scheme have been received in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments on the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to say when a decision may be made.
