83 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for the Environment the present position with regard to the N4 Road By-pass at Collooney and Ballisodare in County Sligo; the time schedules for the start and completion of the work; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Preliminary work on the N4 Collooney to Sligo project will commence in September. It is expected that tenders for the Belladrehid interchange will be invited shortly with a view to having construction started later this year. The main contract for this scheme is expected to get underway in autumn 1994 and the project is due for completion in 1997.
