85 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for the Environment the water and sewerage schemes that have been submitted by Leitrim County Council to his Department for funding; when he will sanction these schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Under the 1993 water and sanitary services programme, an allocation of £853,900 has been made to Leitrim County Council in respect of the south Leitrim regional water supply scheme and Ballinamore sewerage scheme. The position with regard to water and sewerage scheme proposals currently in planning with Leitrim County Council is set out in the following table. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, it is not possible to indicate when these proposals may be advanced to the next stage of planning.

The position with regard to water and sewerage scheme proposals currently in planning with Sligo County Council is set out in the following table. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, it is not possible to indicate when these proposals may be advanced to the next stage of planning.
