Ceist:251 Mr. Barrett asked the Minister for Defence if he will have a national organiser appointed to service the membership of An Fórsa Cosanta Áitiúil.

I presume the Deputy is referring to the position of full-time National Co-ordinator with the Reserve Defence Force Representative Association (ReDFRA). This appointment is a matter for the national executive of that association. However, following representations by ReDFRA, I have offered payment of an annual subvention to the association towards the cost of the remuneration of this position.
