Ceist:

307 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the schemes which are operated under the aegis of his Department relating to the distribution of additional milk quotas to existing and new entrants to dairying.

Under the milk quota restructuring and temporary leasing schemes currently in operation, additional milk quota is made available to milk producers who fall within certain priority categories. New entrants to dairying are among those given priority.
