203 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education if she will announce the allocation of funding to carry out the necessary work on the defective roofing of Ransboro National School, Ransboro, County Sligo; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
The liability for rectifying problems with the roof of this school, which was built in 1981, is being considered and my Department is awaiting further particulars from the chairperson of the board of management.
204 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction a grant for replacement of sub-standard heating and for repairs to the leaking roof at Tooreen National School, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
My Department has not received any application for grant-aid towards the cost of upgrading the heating or repairing the roof at Tooreen National School. Any application which is received will be considered.
