Ceist:85 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in the disposing of land by the Office of Public Works at Drumshanbo, County Leitrim; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The site in question is surplus to State requirements. Before undertaking its sale, it was necessary to sort out certain difficulties concerning the adjoining Telecom Éireann property. These difficulties have been rectified, the necessary tender documentation has been prepared, and it is proposed to dispose of the site on the open market shortly.
