69 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of a proposed special fund to be established in 1994 to allow health boards engage in vital building maintenance work; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
In recent years capital grants have been made available to health boards for the execution of certain essential maintenance work and the intention is to provide for a continuation of this policy in the 1994 health capital programme. This programme is currently being considered in the context of the 1994 Estimates and I am not in a position at this stage to give the details requested by the Deputy.
